Cambodia - corruption everywhere , and nobody cares seriously about ...

Corruption in the postal sector and the behavior of officials such as Interior Ministry, police , post office and " Anit - corruption unit "

Suppose you send a family in Cambodia some much needed ointments, some clothes and a birthday gift ( chocolate, etc. ) , because this requires above all the ointments and the clothes urgently .
Due to international postal agreements go in Europe to the post office , and ship the package ( including customs declaration) for about SFr. 70.oo to Cambodia ...
According to international postal agreements does the package run through customs hands, and lands (if the customs officers do not just need a little extra money due to their lean , not existence - backed wage, and the contents of the package very valuable is not ...) sometime by customs, and then ends up at the post office in Phnom Penh and Kampong Speu .

And by now the Cambodian Corruption begins .
The Postman orient the recipient that a package is received in the post-office.
The receiver reports enjoys on the post, and want to pick up his package ...
The postman is now demanding his Obulus . First, it refers to a self-written list of charges , and requires 10 or U.S. $ 20 ...
Argues the customer that this was not right , the postman justifies : " It could " contraband " or drugs or anything forbidden in the package have " , and so we have to charge this fee ... He does this with this rationale , even if it as a postal clerk ( the Customs is responsible for and has made the package even happen ... ) As for him a damn ...
Nevertheless, there are international postal agreements , which clearly state that the packet to the receiver does not cost additional fees to delivery more ...

This happened to us in recent years very often when we sent packages to various families in Cambodia ..

In some cases , we then dug deeper times , led to the post of head of branch in Kampong Speu a conversation , and this is recorded with a hidden camera .

Then we turned to the Ministry of the Interior , to the post of Cambodia , the police and the so-called "anti- corruption unit " of the government ...

From Cambodian post office, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of foreign Affairs, police of Cambodia or anti -corruption unit we never got an answer ...
Three or four days after delivery of our mail ( attaching the video recording of the conversation with the post -Branch Chief ) (https://picasaweb.google.com/109776382277725481953/CorruptHighwaymanAtPostOfficeForTheAreaChbarmonCityKampongSpeuProvinceCambodia?authkey=Gv1sRgCK22z4DMr6iUNw#5864780750200640226  und  https://picasaweb.google.com/109776382277725481953/CorruptHighwaymanAtPostOfficeForTheAreaChbarmonCityKampongSpeuProvinceCambodia?authkey=Gv1sRgCK22z4DMr6iUNw#5864780748471209954 )
we had a call from this responsible Post-Chief to us and he said: "Please remove the link to the two videos. Request. I promise that I will never again set off in the future for a package that bears your sender, something..." ...

Goal achieved? No!

Post a package today to a family in Cambodia. Then you will see: If the family wants to pick up the package at the post office, the problems start. The responsible official will ask for the contents of the package and / or submit a self-written price list, and then the negotiation starts at the coveted bribe from them.

Obviously the corruption question interested simply no official body in Cambodia!
Neither Ministry of Interior, post, police or Ministry of Foreign Affairs!
And that is simply a bloody disgrace!

When will other countries and the international community to do something about it? What is required more???
